IN CONVERSATION WITH

WIN

Who I am and who I’ll be
Win started her career in fashion behind the camera, but was quickly noticed for her signature white hair and signed on to a modelling agency. She shares her experience with beauty, and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

YOGA, STRENGTH TRAINING AND FRESH AIR RUNS / WALKS HAVE BECOME INTEGRAL TO HOW I FEEL, AND IN TURN PRESENT...

19/99     Take us through your daily beauty routine; morning & night.

Win Keenan Kuplowsky     Mornings begin with splashing my face with water and a touch of currently Marcelle makeup remover, removing any under eye smudging. Then I cleanse my face using ClearLife #1, since January 2019 then moisturizing with ClearLife’s #2 moisturizer followed by #5 Day Serum. A few days a week and especially if going to a booking or a "go see", I exfoliate with ClearLife Renew  and apply a  CL Marine Clarifying mask either the night before or in the morning, depending on time. I should moisturize my lips more often.

For just getting out the door it’s defiantly sunscreen, brows, touch of colour on the lips. If I have a little more  time I apply  SkinCeuticals Sunscreen Tinted Protection, define a brow with a combo of taupe and charcoal, outline my eyes slightly with khol ,outline lips with a somewhat pink toned neutral  pencil and apply lipstick, dust with blush , mascara only if occasion or casting calls for it to enhance eyelashes. For lips right now, I love Burt Bees and Chanel (airport buy).

Evening begins with removing makeup, washing with water and ClearLife Cleanser, then moisturizing with ClearLife 4, followed by their 3 Night Serum.

19/99     How has your beauty routine changed over the year?

WK     For the most part routine is similar though products may have changed,

The addition serum and exfoliation has defiantly won me over. Exercise including yoga, strength training and fresh air run/walks are integral to how I feel, and in turn present...

19/99     How did you start modelling?

WK     I have been in the fashion industry on both sides the camera a since 1997. I worked independently as prop and room set stylist followed by 11 years with Judy Inc. A few weeks into work my signature white hair was noticed by a stylist and soon I started working with a modelling agency; initially by Armstrong Model Management, then Sutherland Models and currently B&M Model Management.

I THINK I MAY HAVE MISSED A FEW MILESTONES BY BEING ABLE TO MAKE THE CHOICE TO STAY HOME TO RAISE THE CHILDREN FOR A FEW YEARS. I DECIDED NOT WORRY AND PROCEED AT MY OWN PACE.

19/99      Do you feel pressure to look a certain way?

WK      No, I'm quite happy finding out who I am.

19/99      As you’ve go tten older, have you felt pressure to hit certain milestones or achievements?

WK      I think I may have missed a few milestones by being able to make the choice to stay home to raise the children for a few years. I decided not worry and proceed at my own pace.

19/99      Does the term ‘Age Appropriate’ mean anything to you?

WK      As long as you feel comfortable in your choice of “age appropriate” and you’ve considered the occasion and the respect due, I think your good to go.

19/99      If you could share advice with your younger self, what would it be?

WK      Be more proactive and daring, and believe in your gifts!

19/99      What makes you feel beautiful?

WK      I feel beautiful when I’m rested, when I have worked out, have creative ideas flowing and those I love are happy.

19/99      Is there anything that scares you about aging?

WK      No, not really as long as I have healthy mind, body, and spirit.

19/99      If you could ask the older generation one question what would it be?

WK       What would you do or not do differently?

19/99      Do you think there is a point where we stop growing and learning?

WK      If that happened I wouldn’t be me. I am grateful for wonder!
